I doubt that the stock trooper coils will give you more than 1". May be even less. Get OME 919s - those are the best choice.

what kind of engine do you have - 3.2 or 3.5 ? 2004 Rodeos were coming with two different engines. If you have 3.2 engine, then you probably have the usual Isuzu/GM auto transmission and DextronIII is fine for it. If you have 3.5DI engine, it comes with Aisin auto transmission, with modifications which are calling for a special "friction modifier additive". I do not know what can be a replacement for this "modifier", probably there is a similar additive in Toyota and Jeep (they are using about the same Aisin transmission). The good part is that this fluid must be changed only after 120,000 miles (or after 60,000 under "severe road conditions").
