I think we're talking about the tranny, which as someone pointed out is an Aisin-Warner variant. Though Toyota uses them also, I'll argue that these are AW compontents, and that AW is an upstream manufacturer of components, servicing many makes... sorts like Dana, Muncie, New Process, and etc. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> So retract that 'Toyota' part, young man! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/pfft.gif" alt="" />

As to the root of the question, why Isuzu is instructing Isuzu juice for your AW tranny, I can't say. I expect that any quality ATF would work, but you probably remember the folks who thought similar for the mega-bucks NV4500 or similar trannies, and what a painful lesson that was.

If it were me, I'd be torn between finding out what the juice really NEEDS to be and just ordering a case of Isuzu-labeled juice from St. Charles Isuzu in Missouri.
