Bingo! I know the dashpot is off. I'll set it back to where it engages the stop before the throttle body fully closes. Forgot I adjusted the stop for it awhile back. I checked the throttle linkage and cable when I put the manifold back together and there is sufficient slop to prevent the throttle plate from opening once hooked back up.
