she is an old bessie - the small curcular ones up top arent hooekd up either - but im more concerned about the big 3-4 inch vents pointing right towards the driver and passenger on the front of the dash - steeringwheel height.

ya dave they are window defroster vents and i think yours are vented to fresh air <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" />
if it's not your heater core what else could it be? i'd replace the lines too while youre at it.

I know what youre talking about and i told you they should be hooked up to the system.. every vent should be hooked to the system. what kewlynx is trying to say is her's turn on when she sets it to defrost. looking at your truck and how hacked it is, i wonder if half the cables are even intact.. i bet there is a vent to outside that's just wide open thats why air comes through there when youre moving.
