hehe...Probably not that mod. But in general jacking up a rig and changing axles and gears from stock does reduce the resale value compared with a stock vehicle in the same condition, at least when it gets traded in or sold back to a stealership. Maybe not in a market like yours where there is great demand for built rigs and many knowledgable buyers, but most places it does. Just guessing as to why, but the quality of parts and workmanship is unknown, what other problems have been created is unknown, and that stuff can be a liability. How about that full locker - the stealership doesn't know someone's put it in there, 18 year old kid buys it, stomps the skinney turning onto a wet road...180* into oncoming traffic. I think a good lawyer would have a field day with that one.

Fred most dealers around here would look at the new axle and think the other one was about to go south also! The only way a new axle would add to the value of the Jeep would be to a buddy of the seller..
I don't know of a tradin that had "improvement modifications" that didn't have the value reduced by the dealer.

You boys continue to talk about Jeep dealerships. Dealerships when dealing with a Jeep buyer do not lower a vehicle's value because aftermarket features have been added to the vehicle. However, they do attempt to buy a Jeep from a (sucker) for the lowest price!

DBL DTY, I can't remember, but wasn't there a warning/instructional sticker that came with the locker to attach to the visor or dash right along side the Jeep operational warning/instructional sticker? I believe there was ... I didn't put the sticker in the cab, either. Well, maybe I did. Let me go check ...

Don't recall seeing one with the ARB's, but there is one that goes with the switches...Still in its original packing bag.
