I'm a transplant here in BAK, I followed a now X wife here 16 years ago from the Bay Area. Its not the Bakersfield of the past its pretty much a real City now. Actually tons of people are migrating from the Bay area and LA and its becoming a combined version of those cities..with the traffic as a bonus. Tehachapi hasn't changed much, I think because its such a pain in the <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/butwiggle.gif" alt="" /> to get there and back..Very pretty though..
Thanks again for the help. I'm gonna try the drive and see what happens, if its not right they can wait another day they have been waiting this long for me to finish.
