Getting the Wheeling Fever
|
Well we finally got the TB and IM swapped on the 3.1. I got a wiring pigtail with the GM style plug for the TPS from Oreily's. The plug didn't fit worth a crap. Bending one of the prongs. So we got it connected best we could just to see how it would run. ( I have another plug on the way to fix it right). We spliced black to black, blue to blue, and green to grey. Also readings were checked with an ohm meter. Now we got it started after several attempts, but it is running very rich. Really loading up with fuel.I understand it takes the ecm a while to get sorted out. So I guess my questions at this point is...how well should it run on initial startup? and how long till the ecm gets up to speed. My TPS is non adjustable. But we drilled out the tb so we can adjust base idle. I would like to hear how the conversion went for others and what if any issues they had to deal with. Thanks.
GOD Said It, I Believe It, That Settles It.
