My plans are to buy the 3inch lift kit from calmini and was wondering if 34's would clear the body with no finder trimming? If not do they sell a smaller body lift kit for the troopers and if so what would be a good body lift for it. I also need to know the info on what rim to buy to get the proper back-spacing needed. I'm planning on running 34 12.5 r15 to a 34 15.5 r15. please get back to me on this guys.

Check with Matt and independent4x.com he's got everything you'd need. Most people on here come to the general consensus that the majority of the calmini kit is not needed. 34s might fit, but they'll probably rub. And the wider you go, the less likely that they'll fit easily.

Well, thanks for the info and independent4x web site. So basically the ball joint spacers take care of the control arms, but do you really need the heavy duty torsion bars and wouldn't the factory ones do just fine? I also notice that calmini offers a new center cross member, brake lines, and two more add-a-springs all for $900. So how many people are running this indx4 lift kit and who is running the calmini kit? What's the pro and cons of both as for ride comfort and off road capability?

Also, are the brake lines needed? or is everything included in the basic 3inch kit?

So what do you guys think 1" body and 3 inch suspension could clear 33's or 34's without rubbing? JTW what full specs on your Wheels ie: back spacing, rim size, and width?

Extended length brake lines are generally a good idea if lift your rig. However, I put on the extended length lines before I lifted, so I can't definitively say that they are needed.

Matts kit will cover all your needs, heavy duty t-bars are good for winch equipped rigs, otherwise not needed. My opinion would be to do a 2" suspension lift and a 1" or 2" bodylift. This way you don't max out your suspension and you still clear the 34's. Again my opinion qualified only by the fact that I've built up 4 Troopers and a Rodeo and this combo was the best of what I experimented with. In fact this is what my current Rodeo will get only 32's or 33's instead of 34's. Good luck. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

Well thank guys, I'm new to these rigs, i used to run a 04 rubicon on 37s". My car domain profile is joey011582 and you can look at it there. I ended up getting ride of it, I broke it too many times . Then I ran a full size dodge which was a beast, but kept breaking ball joints and those wheel bearing units are garbage so I sold it and got a street car. I'm actually still looking for a rig right now, but wanna research all my possiblities first. I wanna go the less common route, everyone has jeeps, toyotas, fords, chevys, and dodges. You don't see to many isuzu's running around and I think they look pretty cool all done up and are very capable. I don't want to go the crazy route, nothing over 35's and I want this to be a clean build, not some half *** build. So I'm gonna be asking a lot of questions and I appreciate all the info so far.
