For those who have bought as many parts, as many of us have, there are plenty stories about telling the dealers things they don't know, and you'd think they should. Hell, at one point on my turbo swap, I was in the back room of the stealer with the microfiche looking for Starion part numbers. (The car is not in WinCaps for some reason.)

BTW, you also should get a new not for the end of the output shaft. Also, be sure to read up on installing it, and do yourself a HUGE favor by using Locktite Red on the nut. They have a reputation for backing off after a while. Too bad no one told the jokers who rebuilt mine when the PO had it. I found this all out the hard way at about 70MPH on I-90 and 150 miles from home.

Search my ID and/or Kevin_C for when the nut backed off, and I lost fifth, the bearings, etc.- include tranny in the search. It must have been two years ago now. I hillybillied mine back together as I had a couple extra trannies at the time. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/notooth.gif" alt="" />
