Sheesh, those WV people are always popping up where they're not wanted.

But you can stay Rich...as long as you don't post any pictures of your dog.

Thanks, Jon.

Man, what a bunch of pompous holes.

I mean, we may pick on a n00b a little, but sh!t. There were some of them that were downright vicious. What kills me about the internet is, alot of those same guys (and girls) would never speak to you like that face to face. As I was reading some of those posts, I was thinking, gosh it takes a real manly individual to talk all that trash on the web. Say it to my face....

Fasteddy's advice is occasionally sound...

x2. True, those guys on Pirate are more hardcore, but that doesnt mean they shouldnt lend a helping hand or some advice. I'd like to see them in person myself. Oh well, its all good, if it doesnt bother AlphaMale, then it shouldnt bother us. Water under the bridge.

I've also heard this from somewhere... arguing and fighting on the internet is like racing in the special olympics, even if you win, your still retarded. (hope that didnt offend anyone)

Welcome to the wire Alpha. Sounds like you got some awesome projects going. There is a large hand full of people on here that have tackled projects like that, and there are alot of us that want to tackle projects like that, but lack the knowledge or tools. Theres a Sport on here that shows up occasionally that has done a SAS and several others on here have done it to their Raiders like Curtis aka LandRaider and motor swaps. You'll get plenty advice and tips so stick around, you wont get flamed here, atleast not too much

Good luck and keep us updated,
Angelo

Welcome to the wire As your found out us Mitsubishi guys are considered the underdog in 4x4ing. It's not about what truck you have or how many aftermarket parts you can buy. It's about wheeling what you own and having a good time.

My trucks would get seriously flamed on Pirate but I have more off road miles than most of them.

I was just telling my wife about those pictures last week, and couldn't remember where they were from. Thanks for reposting that. I enjoyed it the first time.

Welcome,

I too saw your brief stint on Pirate. Good thing you found this site instead. Folks here are much more willing to help with advice, etc.

As for your SAS aspirations, there is someone who's done it on a sport before out of Co. His name was Ed IIRC but don't recall the rest of his details of the top of my head but I'm sure someone will. He spent a tremendous amount having a shop build it up for him. In fact much more than most could stomach here.

There's also an IFS drop kit if you decide to go that route. DC on here did that and is currently running 35's on his Sport.
