My 1990 LWB LS montero has auto hubs. They need replacing. Can I buy a set of Superwinch Manual hubs and put em in? My Jeep has Manual, and I like em a lot better than auto.

When taking the old ones off, be careful with the allen head bolts, they strip easily. Also, don't over-tighten the small screws holding the outer portion of the manual hub on. Super easy to do, other than that

I very highly suggest you put anti-seize on the allen screws.

I just want to tell you both good luck, and we're all counting on you.

And hit them with Blaster the night before so they have a good soak before trying to take off. At least, that's what you'd want to do up here is the rust belt...

I am talking about the screws that hold the face of the hub on. I dont like them. Yes it would be a good idea to hit the bigger hub bolts with PB before taking them off. Make sure you use the correct size bit. I cant rmemeber what size, 8mm I think? Make sure the bit is seated all the way and apply torque slowly and evenly. It is a pretty easy job.

8mm sounds right.

Ah, right Sparkem. Even so, I'd hit the little ones too. They'd break faster if stuck on with rust.
