Gotta disagree with both points.

1) LSDs never get the vehicle into trouble. The driver gets the vehicle into trouble. Poor driving skills can get any vehicle into trouble, regardless of what traction-aiding devices the vehicle is equipped with.

2) ARB's don't need rather high pressure to operate. Actually, compared to the output of most air sources, they need a lower pressure to operate with. ARB lockers should never have more that 100 psi applied to them -- 90 psi is better. Any decent general air compressor will pump a tank up higher than that, so a regulator must be installed to limit the air pressure applied to the ARB system.
