Getting the Wheeling Fever
How's it going. Im back on the subject of the front suspension. The Monti drives good since I've done some of the front end work but in the last couple of days I've noticed some knocking noise in the front end. The driving and handling is still fine, but now when I'm driving for example on a neighborhood street, low speeds, and there are some bumps on the road not speed bumps just not a smooth street surface. Im noticing a knocking in the front end when the wheels roll over the bumps. It sounds like something has loosened up. I checked the front shocks, and they appear to tight and fine. Im not sure what else I can check for. on the open highway at high speeds I hear nothing. Any suggestions on what I can check? The other annoying noise Im hearing how is something like the muffler vibrating against something. I check the muffler out as well, but it appears to very installed very tight.

Several things to check... most likely, the bushings at the ends of the anti-sway bar - a repair kit is available from the dealer.

Next, check every steering joint, starting with the pitman arm and follow the linkage and joints all the way to the tie rod ends at the knuckle joint. Have someone work the steering wheel back and forth over center while you look for play in the joints. Odds are you'll find several areas of concern if the joints are original. Check the shocks as well.

As an option, have the mechanic that's doing your timing belt replacement take a look while he has the truck.
