Think about this, if NASCAR runs the same engines, why do they advertise every motor oil company on earth?

NASCAR does NOT run the same engines! But that aside.. I know for sure the teams don't give a flip what is advertised on the car... they all use whatever oil they wish. Then they don't talk about it much.. Unless you are on the oiling part of the team you will have no idea what is in the engine...or tranny or rear end.. even the wheel bearing grease is secret execpt for a priviliged few.. Wrangirl, you definitely are very welcome here on 4x4 Jeep.wire! Writing is a skill we all need to hone.
Yes, it is indeed difficult to write anything to several hundred people without ambiguity. Cuervo, thank you for explaining my playful intent. But, now I have been slighted! How dare you catorgize me in the same superannuated, hackneyed, cantankerous group as BigJim! I am a product of the Sputnik Era. At least a generation or more chronologically separates me from Daniel Boone's neighbor!

Wow, I've received my Redneck degree in chemistry reading al this. I'll keep teh syn in the diff...thats what teh book ask for, and put the mopar 4 in the t-case....once again what the book ask for. You guys are great! Now, how about synthetic vs. real human body parts? Just kidding. But, If it was new, I would change the motor to synth. But with 115k on it, it might grenade without all that varnish to hold it together! (And don't be dissin Daniel Boone, Hes my cousins mothers brothers stepfathers nephews great uncle.)

Jim I dunno whether they got the dino and the syntho for free or not, just that they tested both in the same motor at the same exact specs and the syntho did a little better at 6500 RPM. I knew I would get a comment outa ya was the ONLY reason I mentioned it, LOL!! I am out of this one!
