ARe you referring to the overflow behind the store and pavillion or elsewhere?

From google earth photos it looks like the cabins are gone and the big play field (home of the ZuZuupalooza events) is gone. But the covered camp sites and the overflow behind the store still appear to be there. Of course that may have changed.

I was talkin about the big area in back. I do think the area up by the pavillion was still there though if that's where you were talkin about.

Yep, I was. I'm not sure about the area you're referring to becasue I didn't get a super good look but I don't believe there were any Motorcoach pads or anything there.

Roll Me Over
I wonder if the cabins are still there, they were out along that big field...lotta people from our group stayed in those. I will likely be tenting this year, though.

Looks like the cabins may have moved behind the camp cabanas. [Linked Image]

Gotta love those spy satellites

So is pretty much the time frame of the spring migration of the very rare ZU'bird tentatively 14 to 18 May this year? Just thought I would let a few more bird watchers from Nevada, Wyoming and Utah aware of it.

The 14-17 I believe is when a few Zu's will be in that general area. A few may arrive earlier (me) and some may stay later

Getting the Wheeling Fever
Last year I stayed at the Campground on the north side of the river it was large and handled large groups. It also has large trees to keep you it the shade all day, just can't remember the name, I know that Jeff had a cabin there a couple of nights. Same proximity as the Portal.......the guy two tents down snored loud enough to drown out any truck traffic so can't say about the noise.

They're not going to put up with any late night wrenching. They're real strick on their curfews Reid.

I would suggest Canyonlands or Packcreek, but I do every year and am always told they will not support the event yet they are one two of the bigger supporters of EJS and RR4W Laborday campout.

Have you guys ever considered camping in the bush, I mean I realize that would mean a select few would have to fore go their cabins and actually camp but it's a thought. There are tons of spots you could get the entire crew into. South end of Kanes Creek Trail, The Canyon along the creek on Steel Bender, Southeast of the Goonie Bird, Heck I probably could name at least two or three dozen.
