My driver side motor mount is blown out.. nothing new to you guys, I'm sure. So, I'm just gonna replace both. Not wanting to get crappy stock ones so I'm trying to figure out what kind of personal experiences yall have with other brands. What's good, what not to get. Pricy vs affordable. I hear the M.O.R.E. Bombproof mounts are pretty good but vibrate a hell of a lot before worn in. Just trying to look at my options other than crappy stock ones.

Thanks

The stiffer the mount the more vibration they transmit to the frame.. If a daily driver I'd go with the stock type for my own comfort. If only used off road then maybe even welding the plates together would be Ok!
If those lasted 12 years maybe they aren't so bad after all.

Body Damage is Cool
I have MORE motor mounts on the 94 YJ Jeep. Never noticed any vibration(s); maybe it's different on the XJ Cherokee? No "worn in" period, the mounts have been good since installation. I did have the OE motor mount screw/bolt back out, just noticing it in time to avoid any serious problems. Sometimes, OE is crap!

I had MORE mounts on my 93 YJ. And recently put them on my 99 XJ.
The vibration is noticeable, but it is defineteley not unbearable, and you will get used to it quickly. The vibrations are only really felt while idling, because while I am moving, my 33" off road tires make enough vibrations already. I would say go for the MORE mounts. Mine have done great. They didnt look worn at all when i took them out of my YJ, and they have been doing perfect in the XJ.

I used the pro thane motor mounts for 304 V8 in the CJ and they work good. Got them from 4wd hardware
