I baught a pair of chevy 4x4 axles from a blazer or silverado. But I'm not sure if the front is a chevy 10 bolts, dana or what. The form of the diff cover doesn't look like any of the pictures I've found on a 10 bolt axle. Actually it looks a lot like the chevy 12 bolts. I need help with identifying it so that I can buy the right ARB air locker kit.
I'm building a toyota pick up truck with souped up chevy 305 from a camaro 1982, 12 bolt rear axle, trail gear 4.70:1 reduction kit, toyota stock 5 spd manual gear box, 38" bogger TSL.
I also need some input regarding the strenght of the axles...will they hold up <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> to the 3000 lbs of toyota truck going offroad?
