1990 pickup 22re 5 speed with A/C
I initially wanted to check the timing because the idle has been stumbling and also stumbles during acceleration.

I jumpered Te1 and E1 to check my timing, and the idle was high. Even with the idle screw turned all the way in, it's running at around 950-1000 RPM warmed up. Goes a bit higher when I remove the jumper.

I've got the TPS adjusted correctly. It's throwing a code 43. I'm guessing it's showing that code because I've installed a push button start so the key hasn't been in start every time it's started. That the only code flashing.

Any ideas why the idle is high or what I should look at next?
