Its a '90 4WD PU with 167000 miles. Valves were adjusted at about 70000, plugs and wires replaced 2 or 3 times, but no other work has been done. I assume it is time to replace the timing chain. Yep, time for TC maintenance. I would suggest the injectors getting cleaned, but if you're gas mileage is still okay, and you're not having a hard start first thing, they're still fine (leaking injectors depressurize the fuel rail). Clean your MAF and T'body. If they are and you're not hearing it 'slap' around then you are OK for the time being.
