Getting the Wheeling Fever
I just replaced the rear shocks with KYB's about 3 weeks ago. Before doing this, the rear was very bouncy, and would bottom out going through dips and so on. Even with new shocks it feels like the rear may be still a little to bouncy, but not as bad before

1)What is the best way to test if the rear springs are bad?
2)How easy/difficult is it to replace the rear springs?

I like my Old Man EMU coils, they work great. Give about an inch to inch and a half rise.
OME 910.
On SWB Gen1.

OME would work great on yours. Good quality. Look for a thread on Gen 2 to Gen1 compatability ,,,or gen 2 rear locker installed into gen 1. Maybe someone will jump on here and give you the link.

Here's a loose write up on my axle swap. I used GenII rear coils. You can also search "axle swap" under usernames 52degrees, Justice and Sparkem if you want to read more in depth. You'll need to go back a ways on the time frame. Hope that helps.

BTW, if you put your truck info in your signature on your my home page, it'll help you in the future <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Fasteddy's advice is occasionally sound...
