Getting the Wheeling Fever
I just switched out my 3rd members for 4.88 and was wondering how much I should ask for my old stock ones with 130,000 miles on them?.

Thanks,
Brian

$50 is a good round number, you'd be pretty hard pressed for any more. If anybbody has upgraded, they'll have 4.10s laying around, so they are everywhere, and hence a diem a dozen.
Really only hold any value if they're from a V6 model, beefier case.
Given the weight of the things, you could probably get $10 just for recycling them...

Around here, they go for $30 to a friend, $50 to a stranger.

ppl around here ask $150-200 for 'em---- EACH. I think the junkyard pirates want $300. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/evil.gif" alt="" />

I think I sold my old one for $20 to a guy plus his old chewed up 3rd. I am planning to build the 3rd up for a spare (have a used set of gears and Detroit to put in it), so just needed the housing.

Yeah, no more than $50 around here. What did you pay for your 4.88's by the way? I'm eventually gonna swap my 4.88's out and get some 5.29's. Just wonderin what to ask for my 4.88 thirds.
