recently i purchased a 91 pup 2.6 with a simulated dual exhaust - i wont discuss how the front was altered however near the front of the bed it was split with a y pipe and ran out the back ( no muffler ) similar to the full size chevy and fords everyone sees running around town .
I must say it does sound good , not too loud and a mellow sound . i have never had a chance to drive this truck yet so i cant say how it would affect performance and fuel mpg . hope this helps .
