What a great tip, Lynx! Thanks a million on that! Just out of curiousity, I looked up a TSB I knew would be there on my 03 HD which has a clunking felt in the steering column. Found out its pretty simple to fix and requires a lube kit from GM which includes a replacement clip that has probly come loose. Whats even more amazing....well not really, that this is an obvious defect from GM but since it probly wont kill any body, its not a recall, just a money makin TSB. I have had two 03's and an '05 GM trucks and they all did it. It must be a serious money maker for the shops or they woulda fixed it by now, lol.
