How well does the auto trans hold up to bigger tires?

I've been running 33s on my 96 Trooper w/auto for some time now and not a problem. When I had the Trooper in for scheduled maintenance, this a year or two ago, the dealership drained the trans and refilled and they did not indicate there was an issue with trans. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Sadly I had to get rid of my 1996 Trooper 3.2L due to a rusted frame.
