Just to further beat a dead horse, I have heard that in some states the local DOT laws don't allow for roof mounted lights (I believe WV is an example) and most of the rest require them to be covered.

I'm not sure how the Liberty is exempt, but it would suck to add insult to injury having those crappy lights on your roof and then to get ticketed.
