just got me a CB radio (corba), its wired up to be pluged into the ciggarete lighter, and i have an antena for it with a magnetic botton, but when its on i dont get anything on any station, all the buttons should be set up right, it was just working in a semi truck but taken out because one of the dials doesnt light up anymore. any help?

If you're not versed on tranceivers, I'd suggest taking it to a buddy who has one in his rig (or a handheld) and have him check to insure that you're doing everything correctly. He could even try plugging your antenna into his rig to insure that that's not the problem.

yea ill have to have my brother take a look at it, hes the one that hooks them all up in my dads semis so he should be able to figure it out, i figured i would just ask here because there might be something simple that im missing, and hes always too busy with his lady friend to help with any of the projects
