THERE IS A WAY TO BOLT THE BUICK RIGHT UP TO THE AMIEGO TRANS BUT IT WILL TAKE A BIT OF SEARCHING, , FIRST YOU WILL HAVE TO HAVE THE FRT BELL HOUSING OR FRT CASE FROM AN 89-91 TROOPER THAT HAD A 2.8 TRANS OR A 90-92 ONLY 3.1 RODEO, OR GET THE WHOLE TRANS, IF IT IS IN GOOD SHAPE , THESE TRANNY WILL BOLT RIGHT UP TO THE BUICK ENG, AND THEY HAVE THE SMALL DIA INPUT SHAFT FOR THE CRANKSHAFT INPUT , YOU CAN USE YOUR TRANS WITH THE EARLY BELLHOUSING, BUT THEN YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO MAKE A SPECIAL INPUT BEARING FOR THE 4 CYL INPUT SHAFT, IT IS LARGER THAN THE ONES ON THE SMALL V6,S, THE EARLY TRANS WILL BOLT RIGHT IN TO THE SAME SPOT AS YOUR CURRENT TRAN YOU WILL HAVE TO SOURCE THE SMALL SPLINE CLUTCH DISC AND FIND A MATING PRESSURE PLATE TO FIT THE BUICK ENG FLYWHEEL , YOU CANNOT USE THE LATER V6 TRANS, THEY HAVE A MODIFIED 60 DEGREE BOLT PATTERN WHICH IS SLIGHTLY LARGER THAN THE STANDARD 60 DEGREE PATTERN, THE BUICK USE THE SAME PATTERN AS ALL THE ISUZU AUTOMATIC TRANS USED CLEAR THRU 2002, WHICH IS THE STANDARD GM 60 DEG, HOWEVER THE ISUZU V6 MANUAL TRANS USED A SLIGHTLY WIDER BOLT CIRCLE ON THE ENG , SOME OF THE BOLTS WILL LINE RIGHT UP, THERE ARE TWO BOLT PATTERNS ON THE ISUZU V6 ENG .
