Hi the blinkers on my 98 T keeps blowing the fuse. I have replaced the bulbs and checked the wires to no avail. It is only one side, if you turn on the right its is ok. As soon as you turn on the left, it blinks once and dims and the fuse blows. Any ideas??

x2. Disconnect one left light assembly at a time. If after disconnecting both of them and still blowing fuses, work your way forward in the harness to find your culprit.

You haven't taken any hits on those left corners, have you? Sometimes if you get a fender bender, it'll do some wiring damage too.

Don't forget to check the trailer wiring too (if equipped).

Good point, there is trailer wiring. Can that affect the blinkers?

Yes - especially if the box (converter) is shorted.

The most common probs with the lights come from the trailer converter box.

Is there a way to check or fix this?

Disconnect it at the quick connects on the drivers side by the tail light. I went through this last winter and ended up just taking the whole crappy crimped on connector mess off and soldered in new leads for a replacement though if someone knows a good spot to buy a new converter that would be nice.
