Found someone with a 91 Wrangler willing to part with his working tranny (Still running in the rig) and a steering column from a 93, and he's willing to barter. Should be thursday or saturday and I'll have em. Figure I'll put the working tranny up into my jeep, and take the other one and send it to the shop for a looksee. If its worth spending a few hundred bux overhaulin, I may just to have a spare laying around.
