Getting the Wheeling Fever
I just received my new amc head and i had assumed that it would be complete minus the cam but it was also missing the rockers. Is there any reason to worry about using the old rockers(they seemed to be functioning, but i haven't pulled it apart yet), or should i just order the amc rockers. Also, i am assuming the amc rockers are the same thing as the stock part, right.
thanks

Just swap everything over from your old head assuming they're in good shape. That's what I did when I did mine. You could have also ordered the head complete with everything, but it was more expensive and not worth it, IMO.

I too swapped the cam and other stuff from the oem head onto the AMC. Mine came with new valves and springs,as I recall, but nothing more. The valves were a necessity-- look at my pictures listed below.

Switching things over is easy enough. Just plan the job ahead of time, go slow, and think about what you're doing.
