I too swapped the cam and other stuff from the oem head onto the AMC. Mine came with new valves and springs,as I recall, but nothing more. The valves were a necessity-- look at my pictures listed below.

Switching things over is easy enough. Just plan the job ahead of time, go slow, and think about what you're doing.
