Hello to all..... Just to better inform you about my setup and the problems I am having with my 1993 toyota 22RE Pickup...If you have any additional question...Just send me a PM and I'll return with answer ...Or a Question ??? I've rebuilt my engine about a year ago and since then I have had a slight skip in the engine that isn't constant but none the less is audible at idle and the only thing I can do to get it to go away is unplug the TPS...I recently had the Toyota dealership tune the engine and adjust the TPS as well as check out the AFM to make sure they were in Spec. The block is new from toyota and the timing chain set is an LCE double row case and chain...steel backed guides...Added an electric fan kit from flexalite... You'd think that there wouldn,t be much wrong with all that I have done and for the most part it runs good but I know it doesn't run like it used to and hasn't since the rebuild...The toyota mechanic said that he set the idle at 900 rpm and bumped the timing to 6 BTC ...If you ask me he's wrong about that ...it's supposed to be 5 BTC and 750 rpm at idle...Does anyone here think that they may be able to help me locate this skip or hesitation at idle...??? Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated ...THANKS !!!
