Cryo treat the ring and pinion for extra strength.

The V6 pinion vs. the 4 cyl pinion shaft are very much the same....I don't think you will find any appreciable strength gain in going to a V6 r/p.
The V6 carrier with the larger carrier bearings might offer some strength increase.
Best gain in strength is a good qual r/p and a good install. Good installers are hard to find it seems.
