Can't agree with that. The increased traction you get from airing down more than offsets any loss in ground clearance.

BTW, on the sand dunes at the state parks in Michigan, the maximum allowed tire pressure is 15 psi, regardless of tire size. Most vehicles do better aired down to less than that.
