The trails we frequent are loose, and hard dirt trails, with a little bit of gravel here and there. The trails that we can conquer with our 31's don't require us to have to air down. The trails that are to knarly for us to conquer will require bigger tires, and lockers. So...we do not air down when wheeling.

Once I get to where I can finally put some 35's on, I will always air down for trails, unless it is just a simple scenic trail.
