I ended up with both. The ABA licence was just for traveling out west or for those ever so few nationals that came my way.

Thats how it all starts. It got bigger for me as I seemed to find my nich. It was then a hobby for me and my dad, and we started to go to state races. Next thing you know I'm at the Grand Nationals in Louisville KY. On the way back (driving),we stopped in Chattanogga TN for the night. My dad passed in his sleep right next to the bed the bed I was sleeping in and I found him that morning, Pretty wild sh!t find someone dead and been sleeping in the same room all night. I was the one who called coroner, at age 11. After that my mom took over the task of getting me to races all over the US. She said it was to keep me buisy and to keep my mind from wondering out of control. I ended up first in my class in FLA, KY, and some years first in the country. Lots of fun! I can still hear the sound of the differant gates, Dant Da Dant TA Da

Pretty cool that you got to travel that much. And on the gates, I remember flipping over a few in the beginning

Been there done that. Nothing like the torque of going backwards then realizing that you jumped the gun, over the bars you go. It's cool as hell to type to some one who's been there. I know I went a little more extreem tan you but did you do any nationals. Man, some of these guys just don't know how it is to travel 30 and on feet with a hight of 12' over a double or step-up then go on to take the win. I will have to say that time in my life was the the best. Great to have a fellow two wheeler in the mix. I will Have pics of the frame and certain parts Lots of mods in the BMX feild.

Nope stayed regional, I started getting into snowboarding, surfing, and skating after a while and lost interest.
