What you have is an inline 6 cylinder...NOT a V-6.
That said the idle is mostly controlled by the IAC (idle air control) This is at the throttle body. It is usual to clean both the IAC and the throttle body to improve the idle.. You MAY need another IAC if the idle doesn't improve.
Do you have the stock air cleaner on that Jeep? The cold air kits usually cause idle problems as they allow too much dirt to enter the engine.
