I looked at adapters a long time ago and thought they might be okay. However I finally decided against it for my truck, as I didn't want to induce any additional pressure on the existing studs. I sold my OEM alloys to offset the new wheel expense. I've read that lots of people run them so hopefully one of our more knowledgeable members will reply. Sorry I'm not much help.
