Prolly the easiest thing to do would be to purchase a complete instrument cluster from eBay..

I'm not sure about this, but it comes to mind that you may need to check with your DMV if you are going to change or reset the odometer. Such info must be disclosed if you are going to sell the vehicle. you may want to take it to the dealer.

Josh I wouldn't worry about that till I got ready to sell the thing.. All he has to do is to declare on the title when he sells it that the milage is incorrect..

Ya know.
All 8's might just be an LED problem. Maybe the milage is still on the computer, who knows?

Josh most if not ALL instrument clusters have the memory right there in the cluster.. When the cluster is r&r'd the new cluster comes in with whatever milage has been put on it..Either more or LESS than the original.. The clusters are simple plug in modules..

in florida you put what ever you want on the title to sell your car for mileage. if it has over 100k then you put "over mech limit" LOL.
