I bought me a new daily driver and here it is. Its a 89 Isuzu I-Mark RS in great condition. It only weighs 2200 lbs and has the 1.6 dohc thats revs to 7800rpm before redline. Its going to be a fun little car. Now all I need is another trooper with a solid axle to be complete

Wow, great find!

I had one EXACTLY like that back in '89.

Also had an '89 RS 4-door that I sold about a year ago
to Curtis, who just put a turbo diesel in it.

Hey, Now that's some great news. I was begining to think I was the only I Mark car nut here.

Here's the link to my I Mark build.
http://www.4x4wire.com/forums/showf...mp;amp;sb=5&o=14&fpart=1

ICU you need to come up to the house. After all I'm just up the road from you. I have three transmissions and one engine for the DOHC. And two 5 speed trannys for the 1.5L I mark. Gonna do a little regearing for the diesel.

I love my I Mark. I'm headed out to work on it right now.

This thing is awesome. I just worked on it today and changed the oil, plugs, cleaned the t.b., and slapped some 18's on it. It looks like a rally car with the wheels. Let me know how much you want for the motor and I can come out and get it from ya. This thing revs way high and I found it will go to 30 in 1st and 60 in second and stopped after that.
Do you know of a bolt on disc swap for the rear Curtis? Anything I should look out for or into doing on this thing that you know of??
