Has anyone had their wipers go out? Since I got this thing the rear one has never worked. No I haven't checked power to it, I kind of assume it is getting it. Fuses by the way are fine. As far as the front goes it is intermittent until today and I hink its dead. I could get it to work from time to time by standing in the door and as I switch it on I can see the wipers lurch forward slowly by like a mm, if you catch it quick enough and 'help' it along it will work. Well today I can run it through full range of motion but it won't pick up on its own.
Anyone had this happen? Since the fronts are bad I was going to just get them both running now. Sound like a motor??

if they run slow and do that stuff you mentioned then it might be too little power to the motor -or needs to have the mehanisms lubricated maybe-

Once I get them 'unstuck' then they run fine. Is it easy to pull them apart to do that??

dont know for sure. as easy as replacing motor

checking for voltage drop and/or putting 12 volt directly to the motor might be easier.

whatever you do,just be sure to check the diagram ....and then again

I had a similar problem with the fronts and just took apart the motor and cleaned/lubed it and it worked fine.
I think new motors are north of $100 so I'd try to clean it first.

Also check the wiper pivots, they get stiff with age. A couple of drops of oil on the shaft may help a lot.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
I had a similar issue on the front wipers. I tried to wipe too much mud of the windshield My issue was solved by simply tightening the bolts holding the wipers on!

I'll try to go back to my hometown this weekend and take everything apart, grease, clean, etc it all to see if that helps!
