lordtrunks, PA_JERO and myself will be opening our own 4wd shop/Fab shop specializing in Mitsubishi 4x4's. We are still putting together prices and a website.

Wow, impressive The men that truly love Mitsu's. Wish you guys the best. Cant wait to check it out, and I'm sure you guys have some wild ideas up your sleeves for the Gen IIs since more and more are getting into them these days.

t-case is done it has been CAD drawn, cut and tested (for the genII) the one i made for the gen I was by hand and never drawn for CNC cutting so thats one more thing i have to do. as for the diff skidplate LT's has the info on those i think.

scratch that, he doesn't have a source for diff skids i'll have to draw one up and figure a price. I'll try to make one that will fit three different axle sizes to keep cost down.

I wonder, would this shop be able to take over a turbo Gen 1 project and see it to completion. This would of course be a paying customer...to rub it in, I would also like a full detail, too. Got to have my paint all shiny.

Hope you guys are all doing O.K.

John B.

Here is a pic of one from a member of the raider forum. I think his truck is a 4cyl manual trans leafspring I think. Mine is a coil aut v6. Dont know what the difference would be. He sent me many more pics if you want them.

thats just like the idea we came up with except i want it to have a u bolt up front as well. These diffs can take a huge beating but the pinion flange should be proected along with the lower u-joint and bottom third member bolts/drain plug. My diff is all rock rashed and the bolts have about had it, I noticed the pinion flange has taken the most of it and it's fine but it really needs some protection.

And we won't be working on other peoples trucks, with the exception of the very elite AZ crew: Johnny, Lloyd, and RMO if he ever gets another montero

Body Damage is Cool
JohnnyBfromPeoria, I should be in the phoenix area sometime this spring. (when ever patrick and I get things worked out on delivering his new truck) Maybe we can all get together and work on your turbo Raider. What more do you need to do on yours?

Well on my way to becoming that eccentric old man in every town.(crazy as a s#@thouse rat) With a yard full of desireable old vehicles that tells you, Sorry they're not for sale..... Someday I'm going to fix them.
