I've gotta get a FUSO, this would have come in handy those few times trucks had to be left out on the trail.

I'm seriously looking into building a fuso like my photo chop up there, I have been pricing parts and i figure 1500 for an old late 80's FUSO, 2200 for Unimog axles, 600 for a t-case, 800 to freshen up the engine (yes it's turbo diesel) probably another 1500 for tires, and 1000 just for misc stuff. $6600$

Well its pretty much set in stone unless i come across a rocking deal I'll be getting a 03 OR newer montero this fall almost bought one the other day but i didn't want to be broke until my raise in dec which will pay for the truck, so i'll be waiting drove it and is sold on one its all she talks about now. So til then i'll be fixing up the max and getting some long wheeling in. I gotta find my old post on propane 2.6 forklifts to so i can stop by fork dealer and price out stock propane stuff vs gotpropane conversion stuff.
