I finally got a better internet connection (nieghbor got a stronger modem), so I am back.

Wife has school this weekend so I can't go camping, sucks, I wanted to go too.

Clay, man, I got to get over there but we are down to one car right now. I had a tire on my Mitsu blow out on Sat so I put on my spare, then on Sun I ran over a screw so untill I get newer tires mounted I can't drive my mitsu! That leaves us with only the Mazda, who knows when I will make it over there to pick up the truck. I hope soon!

Adam, why don't you forget the pin idea and just make it a four link setup with the two upper arms triangulated and get rid of the track bar? You will get so much flex that you will have to put on limiting straps, plus the geometry is so easy!

Word!

1. This is my DD and long trip truck, I like the way it handles without sway bars, if i went 4 link i'd have to get a sway bar for the rear.
2. That is a lot of work to be doing to my DD
3. $$$$$$$$$$ that would cost arount $550 in material
4. I'm already gonna be looking into limit straps so that i dont max out the new shocks
5. The geometry is not that easy and i don't have a plotter
6. did i mention i'm poor at the moment.
7. And who says "poo man can't flex!"?

I agree with all except number one. You still would not need a sway bar, just don't tow stuff and don't use any type of emergency braking! haha

As for the rest of your list....agreed!

p.s. I have always wanted to say...Thats my jeep behind your truck in your add Toasty!!!! I see it!

Actually most of your truck got cropped out, and i edited out the corner of your tire for the banner. The banner will eventually link to my online catalogue for montero parts and aftermarket but for now it links to cafepress.

and nobody was getting towed in the picture

Nth degree dropped the 4 link setup on the jeep and went with a setup like toasty's(torque arm bar) and it flexes very well, there is no reason for him to to 4 link his monty unless he wants to do for fun.

Nth degree doesn't count! They make goofy parts anyways! And why else would you make a 4 link other than for fun and just to brag that you did it?! If I had the money I would 4 link mine. I don't have money so mine is going to stay pretty stock though! Toastys is definately better than mine in many ways!
