You are good at engine swaps. Isuzu bellhousing should let the 4.3 bolt up, but you could sell your 4.88's and buy some 5.29's or do both.

An Isuzu bellhousing will not let a 4.3 bolt up. The Isuzu bellhousing will allow any GM 60 degree bellhousing engine to bolt up. The 4.3 is a 90 degree bellhousing engine.

And since he has the 3.0, he doesn't have the V4AW3 auto, so I don't think the Isuzu bellhousing is even an option for him.

4.3 is a different degree I'll have to go back over my work but i'm pretty sure with a isuzu bellhousing you can use a gm 3.8 but like i said i'll have to check my work i might be confusing it with tranny thats behind adams green Sr.

ok tay i just looked it over and your gonna have to swap the tranny too. Let me know what you want for your mitsu engine and tranny dude, i don't want the transfer case just engine and tranny. But man there is a grip of info on 4.3 swaps just do a search if not PM Landraider he did the swap and used the TBI 4.3 which is the easiest way.

If Tay can put an Isuzu bell on his tranny, he won't have to swap it. There is an adapter made by V8 Archie that will allow the 90* V6 bolt to a 60* V6 bell. I've been yammering about this for a month in the Isuzu forums because I'm getting ready to do an engine swap in my wife's truck (Isuzu Rodeo with 60* V6 bellhousing), and it's going to get a 4.3 as well. If you want links to other discussions, let me know. If you want my engine, we can work something out. It's just collecting dust, and I won't be using it, so it'll continue to do so. Now, since I'm not part of the "AZ Crew" I'll go back in my hole. Sorry to disrupt your thread with my lack of knowledge...

Like Nathan said, You could just turbocharge your 3.0 and be done. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
