I think you're on a good course with the 9". They are pretty beefy. The half ton parts will be your weak link, it seems to me. I don't know what size tires you plan to run, but if you're going to go through the trouble/expense to make a custom axle, why don't you start with a 1 ton axle? Then you won't have to worry about it in the future, and D60 stuff is a dime a dozen. I regret getting rid of my full width HP D44 front and D60 rear combo. The Waggy axles will PROBABLY be ok, but with the money I've spent, it's kind of ridiculous that I'll only have half ton axles.

I just want my damn truck finished.
