The RD-110 runs about $850, plus installation, so that's going to have to wait for now. It would give me an excuse to look up OnSail, though.

Monte3 has replaced one of the upper ball joints and is including the other upper and both lowers, so that'll be the first project.

do it all at once, it's a piece of cake to install the front locker I recommend getting another front diff and just swapping it out.

Once again, the RD-110 costs about $850. It'll have to wait. The ball joints come with the truck.

I plan on putting it into my '94 one day, besides it's happy on the shelf.

But, Toasty, if it's so easy to put in, wouldn't it be so easy to take back out again later when you need it?

Gotcha!

Aww, gee, someone in the East Vally posse who cares about safety...what a novel idea.

Safety isn't my middle name Its the fact that others don't feel safe without some kind of device. Plus I would feel horrible that someone got hurt/maimed/died all because I didn't have some kind of restraint installed... plus... its illegal! Basically it just plain makes me nervous.

Clay Safety... That IS your new name. Try and shake it now. At least you won't get as hurt when we get all crazy doing the hard-core trails, like Montana Mountain.

And a big advance thank-you to Toasty for the front locker loaner, that's real nice of you, dude. I especially like how you are going to have it all mounted in a spare differential so all I have to do is show up and let you slap it in for me. Great idea. (Subliminal suggestion).

If you had 4.27 axle ratios I'd give you my spare front end. Shoot me a Pm I might be able to assist with some type of traction aid.
