Sho, your actually really close to alot of us. Do you have the factory carb on your truck, if so, it might be time for a conversion to a weber carb.

az crew stick together we want him here lynx, besides archiving the same old carb questions doesn't really help anyone. I dig the avatar cuz i dig.
Vibration could be a unbalanced tire or even a bent rim, rotate the tires from the left to right and see if your vibration moves along with the tire swap.

Just do what i did, Lower your final drive ratio to match the tire size that's way better than changing out the speedo gear. It will be one of your favorite mods and your speedo will be spot on like mine.

It's kind of fluid, but there are some constants. As an example, I've had a Raider since about 2000, but they haven't always run, so sometimes I'm here, sometimes I'm gone. I'm probably not the best one to say since I haven't been too active the past few years...maybe ten people total these days. We seem to be having something of a resurgance lately...I know of people from Flagstaff, Clarkdale, Quartzsite, Fort Huachuca, Tuscon-ish and the Valley.
As to your truck, if Toasty has some time, I'd run it over to him first since he is so close. If you let us know if/when he wants to look at it, and it's a down time for some of the rest of us, I'll bet you can get a few folks together to argue/bounce things off of one another as to a diagnosis.
Toasty, I'd be looking at his secondary actuator on the carb. Just apply vacuum by mouth and make sure it holds. He's got an earlier model than I've had in the past, so maybe LordTrunks would be a good guy to have on hand, too, but aren't '85 models simpler than the '87's, as far as vacuum lines and emission controls? And of course, be looking at his idler arm and other steering/suspension for looseness. As if you needed ME to tell you that...
