Got two out of the three mounts done today. No way can I get the rear transmission mount out with any tools I have or are going to buy. Sounds like it's time to ask the dealer what they charge to do it...
Looking forward to next weekend...signature change coming up...

I hate when that happens jbfp, at least you were successful with the two though. Well as you all know I put a new carb in the other day and it seems to be working out pretty good. But now I face a mad coolant leak, this isn't that bad but but where its leaking from is not a fun spot to get to. Its leaking from the hose that goes from the water pipe that wraps around the block to the intake manifold, the one that's shaped like an s. Its only one little hose but those clamps are the worst clamps to try to remove. Looks like I'm busy tomorrow, again. Ill let you all know the out come.

Hey, fellah's whats going on? Does any one have a Holly carb or a Weber carb? And if so... do you just buy a kit and install it on the stock barb? or do you just buy a whole new set up? And is it a whole lot better? Sorry for all the questions.. I wish i can help some one out.

Yes, install it on a modified stock manifold it is better than an old or rebuilt Mikuni (stock carb) but a brand new Mikuni is the ***** but be prepared to spend $1200-1500. The weber is cheap and a good carb go with the weber.

no, no, and no. Me and Pa_Jero just put his brand new Weber carb on and it was PAINLESS!!! it came with instruction manual that is seriously maybe 5 pages long and u don't even need it lol. It came with everything you need, that is to say you get the same one that Pa_Jero did. You should use those numbers everyone gave you <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Seriously, Shogun, these guys are like the Lerner and Rowe of Monteros. One call does it all...call the heavy hitters.
