If you have everything you need transmission; Bell housing; linkages, etc then it should take no more than two days. Like Paj said start by finding out how much of your existing stuff will work and find out what you need, then try finding it used and then go for new.

On a side note, me and Pa_Jero put his new Weber on and it was relatively a painless kit. I was very impressed that everything was there and no modifications for anything! The best part is that when you give it gas it wistles <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Probably got something to do with the aerodynamics and passing through the venturi. But none the less its awesome!
